Solomon's Seal (polygonatum biflorum) is a much-loved native perennial plant with bell-shaped white flowers that hang from the long, arching stems. Leaves are beautifully and lightly variegated with white streaks that look as though Mother Nature painted on them. It's hardy and has a long lifespan, returns every Spring season, and reblooms annually.

Another loved aspect of this perennial is its white flowers, complemented by paired leaves. After flowering, dark blue berries will develop, making it a highly prized perennial for flower beds.

Arrived late but looked OK

I have rescinded my prior one star review, written when I was asked to provide a review prior to receiving the plants. The plants (roots) arrived two days later, roughly 7 days after they were mailed. They appeared OK and while the package should have contained six roots, it actually had 10. I have planted them and I will update the review next spring when I see whether they emerge as promised.

I am very pleased that I found this place. I had never ordered plants as bare roots before. Some have not sprouted anything yet, but I'm happy to say that those that have are healthy, have grown more vigorously than from seed, and are right away stronger with the mature roots. I received my order very quickly and they threw in a bunch of extra roots, which I greatly appreciate. I have already made another order and those plants are going strong as well
