it will be great if you shipped month earlier and not when the outdoor temp is below 20 degrees at night, Too late to plant outside, but have to, don't believe they will survive this winter. What the difference for sending one month earlier at October, very disappointed.

I had a weigela called wine and roses for about fifteen years,but when we moved it was too large to move.I needed one more.This one is growing well.We are in a drought right now,so I water it when no rain.I think it will be alright in time.

Hello, I received two Weigela and one of them is doing very well, the other didn't have any green leaves just starting and unfortunately, it still doesn't. I'm going to keep it planted to see if it decides to live. Both are planted in the same area with the same soil. The one that is doing very well, I did receive looking very healthy, the other not so much. I will continue to nurture. Otherwise, I believe in your plants and cannot wait to see if you the maturity of the plant. Thank you for sending them to me. I will keep you updated. Ginnie

Purchased are bare root plants and I wish they had come packaged better. Plants were totally dry when I received them. It was 5 bare root stems that i immediately put in the ground. So far 3 have budding on them and 2 don't. I'm not removing the 2 that are not budding as I'm taking a wait and see attitude.

I received my Red Weigela's pretty fast . i planted them in large pots till threat of frost is passed. They are budding new leaves already, looking good. I will be ordering again. Sincerely Floyd. I already had pink and wanted some red.

I'd never ordered a dormant shrub before, and was a little skeptical of what appeared to be a couple of sticks with roots that showed up (very quickly after ordering!) at my door. For a couple weeks I checked on them each day, and when I finally noticed green sprouts growing out of the bare branches, I was afraid it was wishful thinking on my part. Now my two weigela bushes are covered in sprouting leaves, and over the last days more than 100 budding blooms have emerged! I'm not familiar with weigelas, but decided to try them instead of azaleas on a whim and I'm glad I did. I can hardly wait to see how the flowers compare to the photos I've seen -- judging by the rate they're now growing, I won't have to for too much longer!
